Demand has outpaced supply in the Southeast apartment market for the past few years, but the recent uptick in development has those trends tracking more closely in 2012. A surge in new construction is currently underway. Charlotte, Raleigh, Nashville and Charleston are regional leaders with projected annual supply growth above 3.5%.
